Thank you for a successful annual dinner

The Lake County Municipal League hosted an evening of celebration during the 2014 LCML Annual Dinner and Innovation Awards at the Port O’Call Conference Center at Naval Station Great Lakes.

Captain William Bulis, Commanding Officer of Naval Station Great Lakes, was the keynote speaker. His presentation included the positive economic impact the base has on municipalities in Lake County and other regions.

Lt. Governor-elect Evelyn Sanguinetti was the League’s special honored guest. In her remarks, she noted the new administration’s understanding and commitment to local government. Lt. Governor-elect Sanguinetti also presented honorees with the 2014 LCML Innovation Awards.

Annual dinner attendees included many leaders from Lake County and its municipalities including Buffalo Grove, Deerfield , Fox Lake, Hawthorn Woods, Highland Park, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Gurnee, Mettawa, Mundelein, North Chicago, Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Park, Kildeer, Wadsworth, Wauconda and others.

Hawthorn Woods Mayor and LCML President Joseph Mancino reminded the audience of the League’s priorities and plans for the future.
