Thanks to Comptroller Munger

A special thank you to Comptroller Leslie Munger for joining us at our membership meeting on Thursday, July 14th at Half Day Brewing Company in Lincolnshire. Comptroller Munger provided an extremely informative update to the financial state of Illinois. Following the presentation, LCML members asked the Comptroller questions concerning transportation funding, stopgap budget implications and the protection of municipal funding. Thank you to all who joined us for this great event and especially to Comptroller Munger.

The 2015-2016 LCML Board was recognized for their service and dedication to the League and the 2016-2017 Board was presented. Steve Lentz, Mayor of Mundelein and Michael Talbett, Chief Village Officer of Kildeer were recognized for their exemplary service on the Board of Directors as they passed their board seats onto Dominic Marturano, Mayor of Lindenhurst and Maria Lasday, Village Manager of Bannockburn.
