The Lake County Municipal League hosted an evening of celebration during the 2014 LCML Annual Dinner and Innovation Awards at the Port O’Call Conference Center at Naval Station Great Lakes. The Lake County Municipal League welcomes the Village of Volo -- the newest municipal member. The Village of Volo was officially incorporated in 1993. Volo's population is 3,363 and is home to the renown Volo Auto Museum and Volo Bog. Burnell Russell has served as the Volo Village President since 1993 when Volo incorporated. Weather didn't stop more than 120 participants -- including state and local elected officials as well as our community civic and business leaders -- in the 2014 LCML Annual Golf Outing at the Steeple Chase Golf Club in Mundelein.
