Lake Zurich Mayor Tom Poynton has been elected to serve as secretary of the Lake County Municipal League. Poynton will join a new slate of leaders that includes Hawthorn Woods Mayor Joe Mancino as President, Wadsworth Mayor Glenn Ryback as Vice President, and Buffalo Grove Mayor Jeff Braiman, Lake County Chairman Aaron Lawler and Kildeer Chief Officer Mike Talbett as directors.
