The Five-0 5K Race Results

On Sunday, May 7, Lake County Municipal League hosted their inaugural Five-0 5K race benefiting The 100 Club of Cook and Lake Counties. The race was held at Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville where runners enjoyed a beautiful paved trail run.

The sun shone brightly as 150 runners came together to support The 100 Club, an organization that provides financial and emotional support to the families of first responders. Congressman Brad Schneider welcomed the group and helped to kick off the runners as they set out on a fast out and back race.

First through third male finishers were: Dave Schlagman, Westin Morrill and John Tennant. First through third female finishers Colleen Konicek Hannigan, Lisa Malkov and Christine Dunphy.
